Anyway, it’s been a stressful week and I really could use a little pampering. At Disney World you can visit the following locations: (from the Walt Disney World website)
Full-service spas at Walt Disney World Resort invite you to relax with a variety of services—including massages, facials, aromatherapy, salon services and exercise facilities.
Each offers a tranquil environment that feels worlds away from the excitement of the Theme Parks. Indulge in rejuvenating treatments for the face, body and spirit at the following spa facilities:
The Spa at Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa
The Spa at Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa provides professional massage and spa treatments, a beauty boutique and access to health club facilities—all set in a placid atmosphere reminiscent of old upstate New York.
Mandara Spa at the Walt Disney World Dolphin
Mandara Spa at the Walt Disney World Dolphin Resort Hotel radiates Balinese tranquility and provides soothing massage and spa treatments for adults—with special offerings for teenagers. Professional hair and nail salon services are also available.
Disney’s Grand Floridian Spa
Disney’s Grand Floridian Spa at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa will be closed for enhancements from September 19, 2011 to early 2013. During this refurbishment period, Guests may continue to enjoy the fitness center.
Additional Spa and Massage Treatment Locations
- Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge
- Disney’s BoardWalk Inn
- Disney’s Contemporary Resort Hotel
- Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort Hotel
- Disney’s Wilderness Lodge Resort Hotel
- Disney’s Yacht Club Resort Hotel
I have been to the Mandara Spa at the Swan & Dolphin.
The atmosphere is extremely relaxing and the staff is attentive. I especially like its proximity to the Boardwalk Villas, although it’s very difficult to walk back to the hotel after your body has been turned to spaghetti from the massage treatments.,
I have not scheduled a spa visit on my recent trips to Disney World, and not sure why. It’s a great way to start off a vacation. Any of you schedule spa treatments during your Orlando stays?
