About

I am an empty-nester and live in the Midwest with my husband of 36 years.   We enjoy our annual trips to Disney World.  As soon as one trip is over, the planning starts for the next one.  I love to write and thought that a blog would provide me with a forum.  I have aspirations to write a book, and maybe this blog will be the start of something bigger.   I have gone back to school to obtain my degree in Mass Communications. It is never too late.   I still have many good years ahead of me. (God willing)

Apparently when you are part of the blogosphere, certain statements have to be made.  So in addition to what you can read about me on my postings, see below for your viewing pleasure.

  1. Hi there, and thank you for the pingback on my post ‘Salad Days’–I enjoyed your linked one on the origins and character of Cobb Salad very much! Maybe given the throw-it-together (with many and varied ingredients) ethos I implied in my post I should call my salads Cobbled Salads? 😉

Best to you with your blog!
    Kathryn
